Pool Cleaning
Regular pool cleaning is essential for two reasons. The first is that pools quickly begin to look dirty without the proper cleaning schedule. If the pool isn't being vacuumed, if the walls and tiles aren't being brushed, if the filter isn't checked and the pump and skimmer baskets aren't cleaned, over time your pool will begin to look murky.
The second reason is equally important: an unclean pool is a safety hazard. The more that dirt and grime is allowed to stay in the pool, the longer it has to gunk up the pool systems. This is a problem for the chemical balancing of the pool, which we'll discuss more in the next section.
Along with regular services, we may also need to occasionally remove algae from your pool. Algae is a persistent problem which, if left unchecked, can cause a major headache. Though the algae itself isn't a health problem, it discolors the pool water, making it look unwelcoming. As well, algae can cause chemical balancing problems. That's why we'll remove it as quickly as possible.
Chemical Balancing
Chemical balancing is a complex art. On the one hand, you need to ensure that the pool chemicals are potent enough to kill all of the problems that can occur naturally in a standing body of water: bacteria, algae, and more. On the other, you need to ensure that the chemical levels aren't so strong as to irritate the skin or eyes of swimmers. This is why pool experts regularly test the chemicals: this allows us to determine whether or not the chemicals are within the proper, safe range.
Along with ensuring the health of swimmers, pool chemicals also maintain the structure of the pool itself. If the pool chemicals are imbalanced, for instance, pool equipment can start wearing quickly wearing down. You also have to be vigilant to ensure that there aren't any calcium deposits on the pool walls, floor, or equipment.
Unless you love chemistry, you probably don't want to spend the amount of time required regularly ensuring the chemicals are regularly balanced. You need to contact experts who have experience with a variety of pools. You need LB Pool Services .
